When we have company, we usually take our boat out for a ride on the intracoastal. We usually head on down to Disappearing Island, which is near the base of the Ponce Inlet breakwater and across from the Ponce Inlet Coast Guard Station. If you decide to stop, beware of the shallow water when approaching from the south.
