So I just finished swapping out the EGR filter and the DPF on my Jetta MK6 (thanks to those who answered my questions!) due to P0401 and P2002 codes (and black soot on tailpipe). After swap and reset of codes seemed fine on some short drives (was even getting close to 50mpg on the highway again) but then the SEL came on and I got a P0471. If the glow plug light is flashing, it usually indicates a problem with the engine’s glow plug system.
